Some don't like to stray from the beaten path, some prefer to stick to the plan, even if a golden opportunity presents itself that requires a minor deviation, then again some are a tad more open to adventure and I am of the latter category. This is how I discovered a tiny medieval town called Lousã in the region of Coimbra and here happened upon a most striking, magical hotel that blends history with contemporary luxury, creating a fairy tale-like fusion in which you become the protagonist.
