I remember vividly, the luxurious Trianon Rive Gauche, its attentive staff, delectable warm pastries in the morning, and the warmth of its rich palette of colours. My partner and I sat cosy in the lounge with typical traditional macaroons and a warm tea from a selection of Dammann Freres. New to the area, we bombarded the staff with questions, who were happy to fill out our agenda with us, from a night at the Odeon Theatre, to a cruise along the River Seine.
The excellent location in the 6th arrondissement meant unmissable sites like the magnificent Notre-Dame Cathedral, and the Quais de Seine were just a stone’s throw away. The emblematic districts of the Latin Quarter and the mythical Saint Germain des Pres that envelope the hotel are teeming with history, art and gastronomy. It’s a paradise for lovers of coffee, books and good company.
What I appreciated a lot about the Hotel Trianon Rive Gauche, was its sustainability guarantee. It’s strong involvement in reducing the hotel’s environmental impact has won the hotel two environmental certificates, including the international Green Key label.
In our Deluxe Room, opulent burgundy red and rich shades of brown painted the walls, complimenting the wooden floors and plush bedding. We had a minibar, filled with complimentary soft drinks and treats that we nibbled on as we sunk into the vintage furniture. Our room even came equipped with a shoeshine kit and sewing kit, which came in useful, and the bathroom boasted high-end Nuxe complimentary treats.
From the warm welcome we received, to our cosy room, and copious breakfasts, not the mention one of the best locations in the city, our stay at the Hotel Trianon Rive Gauche was one we will fondly remember!
