Remodeled in 2020, Hotel Ilusion Moreyo is the perfect place for couples or friends to enjoy a relaxing holiday of sun, sea and Spanish cuisine. The restful atmosphere was refreshing as myself and my partner landed after our much-anticipated flight. The soft, sandy beach was at our vey door, an ample sized pool overlooked the sun terrace. We very silently content with our choice of hotel and grabbed our beach towels, which our rooms provided, before a romantic stroll along the waters’ edge.
What’s more, is the calm Cala Beach is one of the most accessible beaches in Mallorca, so limited mobility is not an issue. Cala Millor Beach and Platja de sa Marjal are also quite close. A privately-owned, protected natural landscape, Sa punta de n’Amer is one hiking route we would recommend for a daytime activity close to the hotel. As we trekked through the pine woods and rocky habitats, we saw some remarkable flora and fauna, and some native species of the Balearic Islands.
Rooms boast a contemporary style, with light parquet and glowing white ben linen, splashed with a chirpy dash of yellow from the cosy bed cushions and throw. From the double room, we felt privileged to wake to the sun glistening on our balcony, the waves of the sea sparkling under the sun’s rays. Thanks to the hair dryer and make-up mirror, I was ready in a flash for dinner. Our half board included a fine selection of international dishes, while a la carte Mediterranean lunch was conveniently available in the afternoon, to be savored alongside magnificent vistas of the sea.
Our sun-drenched Mediterranean holiday at Hotel Ilusion Moreyo was just what we needed for the quiet downtime that we so desperately needed.
