  • Istanbul Atatürk Airport (IST) is Istanbul's main international airport, located on the European side, about 24km / 15mi west of the city centre. It receives regular direct flights from many capitals and major cities across Europe, including from the UK. Meanwhile, Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) is located on the Asian side, about 35km / 22mi southeast of the city centre. It also receives direct flights from a number of cities across Europe, including from the UK.

    From the airports to the hotel:
    • Taxi: official taxis line up outside the airports and should take about 30 minutes to reach the city centre from Atatürk Airport, or likely over an hour from Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
    • Shuttle: a Havataş airport shuttle operates from both airports to Taksim Square, taking about 40 minutes from Atatürk Airport, or 1 hour and 30 minutes from Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
