PLANE

  • Rome–Fiumicino International Airport ""Leonardo da Vinci"" (FCO) is Rome's main airport, around 35 km / 22 mi southwest of the city centre. The airport is well connected internationally, and receives a large number of flights from across Europe, including the UK. Alternatively, Rome–Ciampino Airport (CIA) is the city's secondary airport, around 12 km / 7.5 mi southeast of the city centre. The airport also receives numerous international flights, operated mainly by low-cost airlines.

    How to get from the airports to the hotel:
    • From Rome Fiumicino: take a train to Roma Trastevere station, followed by tge 8BUS to bus to Rome Termini station in the city centre, then the H bus to Trastevere/Min. P. Istruzione, a few minutes' walk from the hotel (and taking around an hour in total).
    • From Rome Ciampino: take a bus to Roma Termini station, followed by the H bus to Trastevere/Min. P. Istruzione, a few minutes' walk from the hotel (and taking around an hour and 20 minutes in total).

    Alternatively, from either airport it is possible to arrange a transfer with the hotel in advance, at a rate of 80€ each way (4 people maximum).
