The Manhattan Club **** is located in Midtown Manhattan, around the corner from Carnegie Hall, just minutes from Central Park, and a short walk from the Museum of Modern Art, Radio City Music Hall, the Rockefeller Center, and Broadway. It enjoys an idyllic New York City location.
A passport which is valid for at least 6 months after your scheduled return date is required.
Citizens of most European countries, including the United Kingdom, are eligible to enter the United States for business or tourism, under the Visa Waiver Program. In this case, you must apply for the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) prior to boarding your flight to the United States. For more information, or to apply for your ESTA, please visit the official ESTA website.
It is recommended to apply at least 72 hours prior to travel. The ESTA is valid for up to two years and allows for multiple entries of up to 90 days each into the United States (if you receive a new passport during the two-year period, you will have to reapply for your ESTA).
New York is currently served by two main international airports. Between them they receive international flights from around the world, including major cities across the UK and the rest of Europe.
Taxis are readily available from either airport, although the price and journey time varying greatly due to traffic. Be sure to take licensed taxi from the designated taxi rank, and remember to factor in 15% for a tip.
From JFK International Airport:
Take the AirTrain to Jamaica Station, then the subway E train to 7th Av. From there, it is just three blocks walk, up 7th Avenue and left onto West 56th Street.
From Newark International Airport:
Take the Olympia Newark Express to Port Authority station, then the subway E train to 7th Av. From there, it is just three blocks walk, up 7th Avenue and left onto West 56th Street.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
