PLANE
New York is currently served by two main international airports. Between them they receive international flights from around the world, including major cities across the UK and the rest of Europe.
- John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) sits about 12mi / 20km southeast of Lower Manhattan.
- Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) sits about 15mi / 24km southwest of Midtown Manhattan, in New Jersey.
Taxis are readily available from both airports, prices and journey time can vary greatly according to traffic conditions. Remember to factor in a 15% tip to the cost.
From John F. Kennedy Airport to the hotel:
• Take the AirTrain to Jamaica Station, followed by the subway E train to W 42nd St-Port Authority Bus Terminal, a few minutes' walk from the hotel.
From Newark Liberty Airport to the hotel:
• Take the Newark Airport Express coach service to W 42nd St & Port Authority Terminal, a few minutes' walk from the hotel.
