On the edge of two of Paris's most famous districts, Hotel Claude Bernard is the perfect base from which to explore France’s city of love. Nestled by the left bank of the River Seine, it is surrounded by rich historic and cultural sites from the old Latin Quarter to the Notre-Dame Cathedral. The area is known for its luxury boutiques as well as its chic cafes, bars and bistros. And the hotel itself is not short of Parisian charm.
Hotel Claude Bernard is a boutique accommodation known for its excellent location. On one side is Saint-Germain-des-Prés which boasts historic sites including a 6th Century abbey which is one of the oldest churches in Paris. It is also home to the Musee d’Orsay and famous cafes such as Cafe de Flore and Les Deux Magots. On the other side of the hotel is the Latin Quarter, known for its vibrant atmosphere and old narrow streets filled with bookshops and cafes. It is also where you will find Paris’ pantheon and the Arenes de Lutece, Roman amphitheatre ruins that date back to the 1st Century.
The hotel is charming and cosy throughout, with friendly and attentive staff on hand to help fulfill your every need. Room service and a daily wake-up call is also available. Double rooms are equipped with a shower or bath, air-conditioning, a mini-bar and a comfortable double bed among other amenities. Some also have a balcony looking onto the street below. This is the same for family rooms, furnished with one double bed and two single beds.
Before stepping outside to explore all this and more, breakfast is served every morning in the hotel’s charming little breakfast room. There are also several seating areas to relax and soak in its simple yet stylish decor. Deep red sofas, antique dressers, decadent picture frames and a bookshelf nook are among the standout features.
However, the real highlight of the hotel is its location. The absence of a bar or restaurant at the hotel is no downside given the neighbourhood’s exciting culinary scene teeming with Parisian cafes, trendy bars and delectable restaurants. Savour the local culture and cuisine just moments from your accommodation. The area also has many luxury boutiques, providing a wonderful shopping experience whether you are adding to your wardrobe or simply window shopping for the latest high-end garments and products. It’s everything you need for an indulgent stay in Paris.
