View all offersThe Hôtel Liautaud has been a renowned destination in Cassis for more than 150 years. Located at the heart of the fishing port in the centre of town, you are just a stone’s throw away from all the action. Wander along the promenade and dine at one of the many popular waterfront restaurants serving delicious seafood with a selection of wines from local vineyards. Or explore the morning farmers’ market on Wednesdays and Fridays where you will discover some of Southern France’s finest delicacies.
The hotel’s bright and comfortable rooms with minimalist décor capture the colours of Cassis and have been fitted with high-end wooden furnishings and fabrics. Some of the rooms offer a splendid view of the fishing port or the Château de Cassis, an 8th century castle perched on a cliff overlooking the town, as well as a panoramic view of the sea.
Start the day with a delicious breakfast in the Salon, a tranquil lounge in the shape of a balcony with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the picturesque harbour, ideal for taking in the sunrise. In the evening after 5.30pm, make your way to the Toit-terrasse, the hotel’s stylish rooftop bar and a prime spot for admiring the lit-up castle while enjoying some of the region’s finest wines and cocktails. Also, make sure to enquire about the regular evening events.
Meanwhile, there is no better place to capture daily life in Cassis than the recently renovated Café Liautaud, located on the corner of the building. Established in 1875, it serves tasty food and drinks all day from 8am to 2am which you can enjoy either inside or on the outdoor terrace while watching the local boatman moor their vessels on the dock.
