Malta was never top of my list for Mediterranean island destinations, and now, having been there, I simply can’t think why; an enchanting island right in the middle of the Mediterranean, between Sicily and the African coast - it doesn’t get any more paradisiacal! We finally discovered this gem, just over three hours from London, where English is the second official language, and instantly fell head over heels; and the Corinthia Hotel St George’s Bay, a luxurious gem of the hotel world, made our stay even more unforgettable!
