Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport (BUD), commonly referred to as Ferihegy Airport, is conveniently located about 30-40 minutes southeast of Budapest city center, making it easy to access all the excitement of Hungary’s capital. The airport is well-served and receives flights from numerous European capitals and other major cities.
From the airport to the hotel:
- Bus: Two main express bus lines connect the airport to central Budapest. Bus 100E runs directly to Kálvin tér and Deák Ferenc tér, while bus 200E goes to Kőbánya-Kispest station, where you can transfer to the M3 metro line for easy access to various parts of the city.
- Taxi: Taxis are readily available outside the terminals, with Főtaxi as the official airport taxi partner. A taxi ride to Hotel Verdi Budapest should take around 30-40 minutes, offering a direct route to start your stay smoothly.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
