Relaxing haven on the picturesque Normandy coastline

Remarkable
8.7 /10
By Edward Fairbairn, VeryChic correspondent
What could be more refreshing and reinvigorating than getting away from it all for a few days on the coast? A bracing sea breeze, the taste of salt on the air, long walks along huge, almost deserted beaches… And of course, so much the better if you can hop across to the other side of the channel, swapping a greasy fish and chips for the legendary, delicious French cuisine. The Hotel Les Bains de Cabourg offers all this and more! Only gardens and sand dunes stand between the hotel and the gorgeous beaches which line this part of the northern French coastline, so you could hardly be closer to dipping your toes in the English Channel. Also boasting a revitalising thalassotherapy spa and an exceptional restaurant, the Les Bains de Cabourg quite simply has all the ingredients for the perfect relaxing seaside break!
