By Esme Fox, VeryChic correspondent
Slovenia is a country under the radar for most, but with its pine-clad countryside, soaring white and emerald peaks and its sparkling Adriatic coastline, that’s soon set to change. Add this to fascinating cities full of old cobbled streets, romantic baroque architecture and a wealth of cultural sights, and you’ll soon understand why it should be the next place on your list. It’s capital Ljubljana may be hard to pronounce, but it’s a leafy green and majestically attractive city, divided by a wide a lazy river and crossed by several graceful bridges. And what could be more fitting in this jewel of a city than a hotel set in a majestic 16th century palatial building? Built for nobility, you too can stay at one of Ljubljana’s most prestigious addresses – the Antiq Palace Hotel & Spa.
