Hôtel & Spa Le Pavillon ★★★★★

Classic luxury and bountiful beauty in the gourmet capital of France.

Exceptional
9.1 /10
By Rhona Pearce, VeryChic correspondent
Lyon, once capital of silks, capital of the Gauls and now capital of gastronomy in France. Founded by the Romans in 43 BC on a strategic hill, it has been the epicentre of cultural revolutions throughout the ages and remains a thriving city of arts to this day. It is beautiful inside and out in every way and is by far and away my favourite city in France. Not only is it a treasure trove of ancient sites and magnificent architecture, making it a UNESCO World Heritage Site, yet it is small, vibrant, warm and exciting, hosting numerous events throughout the year and bursting with museums and theatre. With this in mind VeryChic has found a place that embodies that innovative spirit, classical aesthetic, divine cuisine and luxurious abundance that are characteristic of the city, in Hôtel & Spa Le Pavillon.
