By Edward Fairbairn, VeryChic correspondent
London may be one of the modern and fashionable cities around, but you can forget about being bohemian in quirky Camden, watching the latest cool band at the Brixton Academy or dancing in the streets at the Notting Hill Carnival – The Royal Park Hotel **** is all about the classic side of London. This is the face of London which is all about Victorian elegance, regal grandeur, high tea, black cabs and quintessential British sophistication. It is straight out of the 19th century, on the inside and out; the hotel is made up of three classically-styled townhouses and filled with period décor and antique furnishings. When you add in some impeccable service and a convenient location near some of the city’s premier sights, The Royal Park Hotel **** is the ideal place to enjoy the best of the capital surrounded by the class and refinement which are so typical of London and, of course, VeryChic!

Chic idea: to make the most of your time in London, book your tickets here in advance for a wide range of activities.
