Martin’s Brussels EU **** is a trendy hotel, ideally located in the middle of Brussels’ European district and five minutes by metro from the historic city centre.
Brussels National Airport (BRU) is the main airport, located around 12 km / 7.5 mi northeast of Brussels centre, while Brussels-South Charleroi Airport (CRL) is located near Charleroi, around 46 km / 29 mi south of Brussels. Brussels National receives flights from many major cities across Europe, including the UK. Meanwhile, low-cost airlines in particular operate to Brussels-South Charleroi Airport.
From Brussels National to the hotel:
• Taxi: always available in front of the arrivals hall (licensed taxis can be recognized by the yellow checkered band and a blue background nameplate with 4 yellow numbers and the iris symbol).
• Bus: walk to the the Zaventem Luchthaven Perron A bus station, from there, take bus number 12 towards Bruxelles-Schuman, taking about 26 minutes. Then, walk up Boulevard Charlemagne, the hotel will be on your left.
From Brussels-South Charleroi to the hotel:
• Taxi: a taxis to Brussels city centre cost can be cost-efficient if shared between four passengers. Found outside the airport terminal, three companies have signed a quality charter with the airport; these taxis usually offer a fixed price.
• By bus: shuttle buses run once an hour, taking about 45 minutes to Brussels-Midi station; it is one of the cheapest, most convenient ways of reaching the city. From there, take the train Bruxelles-Schuman (15 minutes) or take a taxi (8 minutes). From Schuman station it's a short walk Boulevard Charlemagne.
Brussels is easily accessible by train. High-speed international trains are operated by several companies, such as Eurostar from the UK, TGV Europe from France, and Thalys from a variety of countries including the UK, France, Germany and the Netherlands. Most arrive at Brussels Midi Station.
Either take a taxi direct to the hotel taking about 20 minutes, or metro line 2 (orange, direction of Elisabeth) to Botanique. From there, it is a short walk north up Koningsstraat/Rue Royale, the hotel will be on your left.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
