Hotel Dukes' Palace ★★★★★

Hosted by history and regal luxury in a medieval palace in Bruges.

Discussing where all those beautiful medieval towns featured in period dramas are found, Bruges came up in the conversation. A friend had recently been there and told us about her fond memories of the 'Venice of the North.' The very next day tickets to Bruges were on our kitchen table! It couldn’t get any better, until I saw where we were to stay - the Hotel Dukes’ Palace, where, should we have been royalty visiting Bruges five hundred years ago, the luxury hotel would have been our address.
