Faro Airport (FAO) sits just west of Faro in the Algarve, around 65km / 40mi / 50 minutes' drive from the hotel. It is a fairly well-served with regular and seasonal flights, from capitals and major cities across Europe, including from the UK. Alternatively, the even better served Lisbon Airport (LIS) is located around 2 hours & 30 minutes' drive to the north.
From the airport to the hotel:
• By transfer service: there are many transfer companies that operate in the Algarve; prices vary from company to company. Although it is possible to take a taxi at the airport, it is recommended to use a transfer service and book in advance.
• By car: this is a great option as it will be far easier to get around and explore this magnificent area during your stay. Major car rental companies can be found at the airport, however, it is strongle recommended to book your vehicle in advance – demand, especially on weekends, is very high.
