BY PLANE
Strasbourg Airport (SXB) sits around 10 km / 6.2 mi west-southwest of Strasbourg and around 19 km / 11 mi (20 minutes') drive from the hotel. The airport receives regular flights from elsewhere in France, as well a number of regular or seasonal international flights, including from a handful of major cities across Europe.
Alternatively, Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (MLH, BSL, EAP) near the German and Swiss border is about 1 hour and 40 minutes drive to the south, or Stuttgart Airport (STR) is about 1 hour and 40 minutes drive across the German border to the east.
From the airports to the hotel:
• From Strasbourg International Airport: walk 6 minutes to Entzheim-Aéroport and take the TER (SNCF) train into Strasbourg and change to get to Basel.
• From Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg: take the BVB bus n.50 runs to Basel's central railway station, taking around 20/25 minutes, or take a taxi, taking around 15-20 minutes.
BY TRAIN
Gare de Strasbourg-Ville is the main railway station in Strasbourg and it is served by France's high-speed TGV train services. It is therefore possible to reach Strasbourg by train rapidly from Paris and a number of neighbouring countries, including the UK.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
