BY PLANE
The nearest airport, La Rochelle–Île de Ré Airport sits on the outskirts of La Rochelle, about 11.5km / 7mi / 15 minutes' drive from the hotel. The airport receives some year-round regular flights from elsewhere in France, such as Paris and Lyon, and seasonal flights from some other European destinations, notably the UK and Ireland.
Alternatively, Nantes Atlantique Airport further north near Nantes, is about 150km / 93mi / 1 hour and 30 minutes' drive from the hotel. It receives a number of national and international flights from across Europe.
BY TRAIN
The closest station is in La Rochelle, served by France’s high-speed TGV network. It is therefore possible to arrive by high-speed train with companies such as TGV, Thalys and Eurostar, from various countries across Europe like the UK, Netherlands or Germany (as well as other cities in France). Trains run from Paris Montparnasse to La Rochelle-Ville in around 3 hours.From La Rochelle station, you can take a taxi or rent a car to reach the hotel, which is 30 minutes' drive away, or take a bus running directly from the station to the Île de Ré in around 1 hour.
